Anybody who has a GERBER tactical incandescent light - RX series ?

I was wondering how the RX Series is...I like the form of RX700
It's advertised with 100 lumens on Gerber site but who knows the real lumens ?
Is it better than a PELICAN M6/ TACSTAR T6 / SUREFIRE 6P / STR SCORPION ? Does it throw further ? I can't realize the diameter of the reflector comparative to the others.

but any idea if lamp repacements are readily available? i do not have this model, but the battery life seems short for 100 lumens...? :shrug:

for a dual celled CR123 light the competition is keen, from reputable rival brands at that... :whistle:

I have seen that some online shops have replacement bulbs for their XENON lights.
I don't find their runtime short :
100 lumens - 2xCR123 - 1hr
150 lumens - 3xCR123 - 1hr
Surefire/Pelican runs for the same time and they are advertised with 60/70 lumens....well I guess their are more accurate with their lumens output.

oh ok, maybe its because i was comparing them to warm tinted LEDs of today. unfortunately as i do not own any incand lights from Gerber i could not comment further. :sweat:

their LX1 was a nice surprice though, gives about 10hrs of runtime on a set of alkaline with more throw than Inova X5, but that'z another story. ;)

Not exactly the same but I have a few of the single cell RX-350 lights. The lights seem well made. The switch is a twisty that can be pressed for temporary on. The body is a little larger than the Surefire E series lights. The output was ok. I gave away several to friends but the ones I kept, I modified to take led drop-ins made for Mini-Mag lights.
