Anyone able to help me fix my DX CREE EYJ

Howdy,

I have had my flashlight a few months and it works intermittently. I tried both 18650 and 2 CR123A's in the light. It just cuts out at times. Right now I can't get it to come on at all.

I took some needle nose pliers and tried both loosening and tightening the copper "nut" with no luck.

Someone had mentioned manually jumping the circuit or something??

I'm not terribly techincal when it comes to this stuff, but any help would be appreciated!

Is ur YJ the U2 style or the new style? If it is the new style it could be that the tail cap is not tightened fully. U have to fully tighten it or else the connection will be loose.

Mine is the old style. I got it when they first introduced them.

Did you over grease the threads? Sometimes when the threads are over greased - the grease gets onto the contacts and prevents good electrical connection. Happened to me with my Fenix's and surefire, but after a good clean, they worked fine.
