my tailcap recently has started to malfunction. Its maybe a month old or so... Sometimes when i push the button it lites up, flickers and does this as i hold. If i hit the tailcap on a desk or something it will begin working properly. Sometimes it wont even flicker, it just wont light up. Secondly when it is doing this even screwing the tailcap down all the way till its tight still does not make it light up.
Its definately in the tail cap as ive changed the batteries and the lamp. I would try and take it apart to fix it but im sure this would void the warantee?
Do you think pelican would send me another tail cap or do i have to go through the hassle of shipping it to them and waiting a while to get it back.
