Anyone have experience with terraLUX TLE-300M? (for 4D mag)

How does one distinguish which one's which between the 3 different models?

The original had no black backing plate to help hold the LEDs in place. The 2nd Gen. version does. The current one, from the pics I've seen, seems to use a silver backing plate.
