I have a Sgt. Burkett on the way and wanted to put a 3 mode driver in it. Something with just High, med & low (no blinky stuff). For some reason these seem to be a rare beast. I found this on KD, it has 3 modes but doesn't say what they are http://kaidomain.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductId=1694 . I was hoping someone on here may have one of these and could fill me in on what the modes are.
Also does it look like something that will work well with a single 18650?
I have a 17 mode driver on the way from DX but would rather just have a striaght 3 moder so I don't have to worry about it switching groups when I don't want it to.
My backup may be to take apart a Dereelight 3SD and see if I could stuff that in the Burkett (if I can find a reflector that will work).
As you can tell I don't know anything about this stuff.. :shakehead but I'm gonna give it a shot.
