Anyone heard of SemiLED?

Hi Everyone!

I just got my hands on some pretty neat new high power LEDs. The guy I got them from had a bit of info about them but I'd like to find out more and I know there is a wealth of info here at CPF.

Here's what I know so far:
-The LEDs are manufactured by a company called SemiLEDs
-They allegedly put out about 80lumens/watt and have extremely good thermal properties
-3.5Vf and supposedly they can handle very high imput current if properly cooled

I haven't been able to find any datasheets for the emmiters on SemiLEDs website. The sample I got has 7 emmiters series-mounted on a 2.5" MCPCB and I don't have a suitable way to drive these things yet, so I haven't tested them. I'll add some pictures tomorrow. I'd love to make a cool bike light with them, so any info would be awesome!

I have try to find information about that as well. No luck with that. It is some MvpLED.Metal Vertical Photon LED. I have no idea what that mean??

All the informations seems to be from the year 2005-2006.
