I am looking for a combination cell phone/flashlight holster for my Surefire C2 and my LG 8300 phone. Anyone know of such an animal? I have tried Rippoff's and other's with no luck.

Why can't I insert a picture?
You have to use an image hosting service such as Imageshack or others. Most are free. Once you are signed up, you post your picture to that site and they provide code to insert in your post.

Here is another choice:

PaddlePak

These work well with C2-G2-6P sized lights. I looked at the Nite Ize, but did not think it would hold a light that big. Looking forward to pics.

Wow. I like the Paddle Pak. ...I spoke to NiteIze and they said the C2 would fit just fine because the light holder is elastic.

I like that small one, Omega. I wound up buying both the Paddle Pak and the Niteize Leather Clip Case (in black).

wow- i had no idea about the paddle pack- thanks flash gordan! Ive been looking for a good case for my new slider. Do you have a link to the manufacturer website or anything? Googling "paddlepack" gives me way more results than i can sift through.

Now that I've ordered both the Paddle Pak and the Nite Ize Cell phone/Flashlight holders, I will report back on which works best.

Upon talking to both companies, they should both fit the Surefire C2 sized lights without any problem. By looking at the pictures carefully, it seems as if the Paddle Pak would be the most economical as far as the use of space is concerned and the Paddle Pak would be the smaller of the two as it relates to attaching it to your belt. Personally, I want something that will do the job properly, without carrying any additional material on my belt, especially for every day carry purposes.

Conversely, if I needed to fit several objects into a relatively small-sized belt pack, the Nite Ize product looks as if it might be better.

So for me, I need the smallest package that will hold my cell phone and my C2 in the smallest way possible for every day carry purposes.

Prices are very reasonable for both products: $13 (plus shipping) for the Nite Ize. And for the Paddle Pak, $14.95 (plus shipping).

Further, I have also just received a Maxpedition 5 inch light holder that is fantastic! It is an extremely well built piece of equipment for heavy-duty use. This is the best-built flashlight pouch/sheath/holder I have seen yet for 1-inch diameter lights. The only drawback is that it's essentially a bezel-up-only, carry pouch. Take a look at their website for other models as they have a good variety of not only flashlight carriers, but other top-notch carrying equipment built to the highest degree of hard use quality: http://www.maxpedition.com/

REVIEW OF PADDLE PAK AND NITE IZE CELL PHONE/FLASHLIGHT COMBO HOLDERS

Paddle Pak versus Nite Ize Cell Phone/Flashlight Combination Holders:

Both are very good and well built. The Paddle Pak is very well built and tough, but is bigger overall than the Nite Ize (which is hard to tell by looking at the pictures).

Paddle Pak: http://shopatlloyds.com/index.php?option=com_ezstore&Itemid=30&func=detail&id=1

Nite Ize:

The fact that the Paddle Pak is larger makes it almost inappropriate for EDC in an office environment (depending on what you wear and where you work, of course). It looks like something you might see on an LEO's belt, which is fine, unless you're in more of the business office environment. However, if you're not in an office and are more "in the field", this is not a problem and you could use the Paddle Pak on a more full-time basis. This holder meets the definition of "paddle" in that you can wear it with or without a belt as it slips quite securely into the waistband, and/or between the belt and pants.

The Paddle Pak accommodates my LG VX8300 cell phone and my Surefire C2 flashlight very well. It could easily carry a longer light, probably up to 7 inches or more.

The Nite Ize product is smaller overall, which is good for EDC in the office environment. It doesn't draw attention because it looks like a cell phone holder (which it is). However, you cannot fit any Surefire light inside any of the elastic loops built into the side of the holder, since Surefire's diameter is simply too large. However, I am using the pocket clip on my Surefire C2 to attach the light to the side of the holder's several elastic loops. This works out pretty well, is fairly secure (but not as secure as the Paddle Pak) and is quite low profile. So if you have a Surefire sized (diameter) light with a pocket clip, you'll be fine. If your Surefire sized light (or larger) does not have a pocket clip, the Nite Ize is probably not for you. If your light is the diameter of a Mini Mag, you're good to go.

This holder also has many places for small items: Credit cards, a pen, a Mini Mag light, a Bluetooth earpiece, etc. It just won't accommodate the diameter of a Surefire or similar light. This holder also attaches very securely to the belt or waistband, but is not a paddle design. The belt clip is much tougher than the standard cell phone belt clip – to the point of having to be careful not to gouge your expensive, custom made, Tucker Leather, holster belt.

The Nite Ize holder is limited in the length of light it can carry as well. My C2 is about 5.2 inches long and I wouldn't want to try anything longer. My cell phone fits easily and the holder could probably hold a slightly larger model.

So for me, I will wind-up using both of these quality, combination Cell Phone/Flashlight holders. It just depends where I will be and what I'll be doing on a given day.

Just ordered a double sheath maxpedition, we'll see how it goes.

The Maxpedition sheaths are very high quality.
I'm wondering if the L2D-CE will fit in this.
Can somone post some photos of the maxpedition double sheath / regular sheath (not the offical product shots), maybe beside a ruler/measuring tape and a flashlight or blade inside. I'm curious to see what it looks like real life.

I have the L2D-CE and the Maxpedition 5 inch sheath. Though I don't use them together (I use the sheath that came with the light), it should work well. I can tell you the the double sheath is a bit bigger in diameter than the 5 inch double sheath, but that should not be a problem. The double sheath might look a tad oversized for the L2D-CE, but still, it should work fine.

Wondering if there will be space to cram a boker subcom, spyderco cricket, or money clip with the flashlight in the same compartment of the holster?
