Yes, I have seen them. They are Arc Mania's inventions. Their brightness level is quite good considering they are based on 3mm Nichia's. These modules use "inverted cone" LED's, which is a good mimic of LS-SE beam pattern---ie, most of the light goes sideways to the reflector. You can get a decent throw with a MiniMag reflector. They are brighter than Arc AAA's, and the throw is MUCH better. But it's no where near a Luxeon-based light in total brightness and beam color. Battery draw is close to 200mA if I remembered correctly. The LED is significantly over-driven, but Arc Mania creatively added an aluminum slug close to the LED leads so the heat gets conducted away efficiently and you won't burn out the LED in a hurry. They are quite good for general purpose lights---fairly cheap, too.
