Assuming you mean Ebay Auctions, well although I have never sold anything there myself, I believe they have a built-in picture hosting service a spart of their auction listing "tools". Might need to look into that one though, maybe it costs extra on top of the listing fees.
Alternatively the only other place I know that is totally free and allows outside hotlinking, is Excite Webshots at http://excite.com . Ordinarily it`s a photo album site but you can hotlink directly to the uploaded .JPG files. I believe it`s not initially obvious how to do it but if you can`t figure it out, I`m sure there are those here who know.

thank you for the reply. You must first upload the picture from your hard dive to a web site so the picture can obtain a URL. After that ebay lets you upload 1 free foto to your auction. Just to let you know... Ill check out excite, thanks !!

they also allow you to upload directly to their site from your drive - no intermediate url is needed. a copy of the picture is stored on their site for the duration of the auction.
