Anyone tried cyan 1W HD/NX-05/MM+ combo?

I was wondering has anyone tried the cyan 1W HD Luxeon/NX-05 optics/Madmax+ combo?

I have tried the high dome with an NX05, although, not cyan.

I have a MadMax+ Cyan. Other than it's very,very bright, what do you want to know?

BTW, how do you tell if it's HD? All of mine have a retangle profile...low squatty shape...flat on the front of the LS.

The LD has a flat top. The HD has a round top, looks almost like half of a sphere. Look at the picture below. The Solitaire Pill is on it's side clearly showing the shape of the HD LS.

The HD LS pill was made by LED mods As Small As Possible. Look at this thread Superbright Luxeon Star Solitaire Mod for lots of info and pictures of the mod. Amazing mod /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Thanks for all the information. I ordered a white 1 watt HD luxeon from Wayne at Elektrolumens. I am going to send it to LEDsASAP to put into a solitaire. I want something brighter than my Arc AAA LE for my edc.

Here's the runtime plot I did on my MadMax+Cyan. It appears to a low dome emitter (rectangular profile, flat top). I don't know how the runtome plots compair between high and low dome LS.
