Hello. I was thinking about this flashlight and I had some questions for anyone that owned a Luxeon Survivor. Could anyone help me find the dimensions of the reflector used in this light? All I need are some approximate dimensions, such as the diameter of the reflector (just the reflective area -not the entire screw on bezel) and the depth of the reflector (from the front to the very rear). It may also be helpful to give the diameter of the opening at the rear for the emitter.

I seen a friend's Survivor early this summer, but I didn't ever record any dimensions. I have been having some difficulty visualizing the size of the reflector when I unscrewed the bezel.

This would help me so much. I am thinking about calling Streamlight to see if I can get a "replacement" bezel for the Luxeon Survivor. I was hoping that the reflector would be around 50-52mm in diameter to squeeze into a C mag. With this reflector (if it fits), a modified O-sink (to fit down in further), and a Rebel 0100 or "new K2" overdriven at 2A would be spectacular! The Rebel 0100 temporarily focused in a stock Maglite reflector is amazing (to me: heart stopping), so maybe a better reflector would be even better. Maybe a Tiablo A8 reflector may work. Even if the reflector is smaller than 50mm, I will have an equally useful application for these awesome Survivor reflectors. Thank you!

Emitter opening: 9.5mm
Reflector Depth: 54.3mm
Reflector Diameter: 47.5mm
Bezel Diameter: 59.0mm
Bezel Depth: 35.2mm
Total Depth: 64.5mm

Hope that helps.

Holy emitting surface of a Lumileds Rebel die!!! Thank you so much for the extra dimensions! That is a pretty deep reflector. It is about twice as deep as the original C and D maglite reflector. I wonder how it compares to some of the Diablo T8 or MRV reflectors in size. Hmmm, a reflector diameter of 47.5mm. If that is the edge of the reflective surface, then this would work so perfectly with the bezel of a Maglite. I will do have to draw up everything to see if all of it can fit. I might have to ask someone to do some machining to my 2C mag. I bet it would fit better in a D-sized mag. Again, thanks TigerhawkT3! I appreciate the prompt and detailed response. :grin2:
