I have had this fenix p1d for about a year.
It's been a great light but the keyring hole was always a little thin for my taste. I noticed it had become even thinner from the keyring constantly sliding back and forth. Finally today I was leaving the grocery store. I got in my car and dropped my keys with the fenix attached. It got caught on the bag.
I grabbed the light to pull it free and the keyring hole broke.
From a freaking plastic bag.

I'm quite dissapointed.

Anyway I'm desperate to get another p1d body so I can carry it on my keyring again.

Does anyone know where I can get one?.
Thanks inadvance.

I don't have the tools, but I guess I could find someone that could do it.
Thanks very much, I don't know why I didn't think about that

It doesn't take much, just a drill. Nothing special. The tools required most likely cost less than a replacement body would.

You should really have one as part of your home repair kit anyhow.

I use yellow Kevlar line and forgo the split rings all together for smaller gear items. Here is some to connect a Fenix light to a yellow paracord lanyard. Also works for connecting smaller stuff to a key chain. Never broke or cut anything off by accident so far and doesn't eat into the metal.
