Just wondering if there are any mods for the arc 4+? As well, how do you go about opening up the light?

Thanks!

Just asking, but what could you possibly want to do to an Arc 4+, other than possibly swapping emitters.

Ive seen people make a 2xAA battery tube for one, That's about it.

Don't forget Cy's excellent switch mod. In my opinion the best way to improve this light at very low cost. No accidential activation in your pockets, switch is protected from drops on the back end and it's much easier to replace a rubber disk than the rubber boot that so many people seem to chew like chewing gum. The mod is well documented in the arc forum. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

thanks! Im not sure what i would like to do with it, its already a great little light....but then again, so is the nuwai Q3, but yet ppl are still continually adding more and more to it.

Any way to make it even more brighter?

LoL Agreed on the Q3 being a great little light. I carry one myself. I used to have an Arc4 but sold it. Programable lights are all fine and dandy. But the Arc4 was just too big a pain to try to click the clicks properly to get into the various modes and whatnot to set your default brightnesses and whatnot. My Lionheart is far easier and intuative. But all that is a moot point since i usually use my lights at full throttle anyway /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif So the Q3 is fine for me since it only has one speed. And with a Li-Ion it's nice and bright.

I had forgotten about the switch mod. Good idea since lots of Arc4's had switch problems. Emmitter swap would be cool if it were possble since there were quite a few greenish ones. The 2xAA adapter was about the coolest custom think i had seen for the Arc4.

I also have a 2X123 tube (I think it was a HDS prototype)
and agree VERY much.

Using the 2 cell tube on the ARC 4+ is also a good way to use up 123 batteries that are no good for use in most other lights.
They will enable level one up to when the two batteries are almost completely "dead" !
