ARC 4+ SECOND LED REPLACEMENT?

Has anyone replaced the led in their Arc 4+ with a LIII? I have a TX1J and wonder if it would improve the light output substantially. I would also be very appreciative for any information on how to go about doing the replacement.

Last time I checked the entire unit was potted so that it is pretty much impossible to do any type of LED replacement. In addition, you never know, your second might actually already have a LSIII in it.

Huh? Some of the Arc 4+ seconds have Lux IIIs? Is there any way to tell?

Peter had said that he tries to put the brightest Luxeon he can in a given light and that he uses both Lux Is and Lux IIIs to accomplish this. The seconds come about if they either don't live up to his brightness and tint standards or if they got one of the blemishes that everyone always fails to notice.
