arc aa and aaa output/differences

Other than the aa/aaa and the tailcaps, what are the differences in the 2 lights? My aa seems to be about twice as bright as my aaa.

I this has already been posted/covered/etc, please direct me to it.

My AA is a good bit brighter than my AAA also.
The main difference is in the spill light. Its alot wider and brighter.
I find the light output ALOT more usable than my AAA, which is great.
The hotspot itself doesnt seem alot brighter, its mainly the spill light.

I would explain the differences exactly the same way. Much brighter, wider, and more useful and pleasing. Really a very nice beam profile.

well... thanks for the comparisons, but I have found why MY lights are different. the aaa battery was almost dead.
