Can anyone tell me how the beam of the arc AA compares to the beam of the cmg ultra? I just ordered a arc AA and have a cmg ultra. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The beams are vary similar, I think that the Arc might have a little bit more peripheral brightness. That might be from having a polished bezel.

Maybe so if you can get a centered LED on the Infinity. I sifted through a few, and finally got one that was reasonably centered - only to find out the LED actually has a ringy beam. The one Arc AA I have is right on - better centered than any of the Ultra's I've had, and with a nice smooth beam. The polishing also helps produce a brighter peripheral cone of light, as you said. Oh, and it's smaller, lighter, and stands on end.
