What type of glue would be best suited to re-apply the foam retainer on the AAA after removing it for maintanence........ (the crimp)

I recommend you use a new retainer. We send these to you for free with a SASE (Self Addressed, Stamped Envelope).

I cant send SASE as I am the other side of the world. I removed some retainers to take some pictures of the roll crimp. I damaged the retainers slightly as the glue was quite strong. However I then stuck them back with a simple glue called Pritt, comes in stick or tape form used mainly for paper and kids projects.
The end result looks good.
I'll chat to Peter though to get some retainers for both the AAA and LS.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I re-glued the foam retainer on my LE 5 months ago with UHU (really sticky) paper glue. It's called Quik-Stik and is viscous in the transparent tube it comes in.

Should be at Big Lots or "dollar stores, stationers etc.
Doesn't damage the foam and has held up just great.
