Newly Enlightened
Yes thats right a kidex sheath, for a verry accessable neck light. First off, I'm sure you want to see it and get a little information on how it was made, well I will let it's creator enlighten you there; see this thread:I made something ,by webley445. there is a full discription and pic. When I first saw this, I thought that is the way to carry the ARC-AAA. Just the fact that you could simply draw the light with one hand was enof for me to begin bagging webley445 to sell me one. My first impression when I recived it was "WOW IS THIS THING A LOT SMALLER THAN I THOUGHT!" and light as a feather. the attention to detail he took when shaping looks top of the line factory. and it compliments the little arc as if the light was ment to be in it. In fact the ARC now looks nacked with out it. Use's, well where to start? The sheith fits snug on the arc either lens in or out, the latter alowing you to light up a project while leaving your hands free and in this mode it will give you something flat and less abrasive on your teeth to bite on. Yes that's right no more looking like the happy hooker. the light can be not only drawn one handed from the sheath but replaced as well (F.Y.I. you can't draw the light while gripping the sheath in the center. This puts too much squeeze on the light. Eather draw it from the lanyard or the flat area by the lanyard hole.) Carrying lens in will help protect it from scratches. The rest of the uses I have found are roll stop, better grip for large hands, attachment to flotation device, protection from scratches while on key ring, and pocket sheath. durribility: Please! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/whoopin.gif The only thing tougher is maby the ARC-AAA it's self. The only improvement that I could come up with would be a small pocket clip (just need to get some more small tapping screws /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif) Price: I have it from a little birdie that $10.00 shiped with a satisfaction garentee will be hashed out, and in my book that is a no risk deal (figure out what you will spend on a clip, and shipping!) My self; I would pay more just to keep my little sheath ( /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gifno you can't have it dear, you don't even have an ARC-AAA. Oh you want that too?) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif
