do they still make the arc AAA. ive read some good things about them, how much are they, where do u get one. my edc is the e1e, but its run time is 90 min on a 123cr. How long does the arc AAA run? thanks for the help guys. im a newbie.

Arc LLC is out of business and Arc AAA's are not made any more. They are scarce and sought after. Expect to pay $50+ on the collector market if you want one, maybe a lot more. They were $24.95 new until Arc shut down a few months ago.

The Arc runs about 6-7 hours on an AAA cell. It's not remotely the same type of light as an E1e. It's similar to an LED squeeze light (Photon II etc.) in brightness, but runs longer, is more rugged, and uses common AAA batteries.

These days, the closest substitute for an Arc AAA is the Peak Matterhorn or Annamaria Dallasandra lights from www.peakledsolutions.com . If you visit that site, click on "Annamaria Dallasandra", and order the $24.95 lug-end version of the AAA light, that should be very similar to the Arc. I ordered one last night and will post a review when it arrives.
