Arc LS mods

I am thinking of modding my LS standard with a Lux 3 and increasing the current. I want to do this myself to save money and because it's fun, but I don't want to ruin the light. Are there any instructions on the site for doing this. I did a search but didn't come up with much. I know I can send it off to any one of the many pros who mod these, but I really want to do it myself.

I had a similar problem with the search a while back. Another CPFer emailed me the info and links below. I ended up modding a couple LS's with T bins and current to aprox. 560ma. Also changed out the optics for SO17XA reflectors. I'm very happy with the outcome.

Getting one of these apart the first time seems to be one of the more difficult aspects.

Thanks zwf, very good reading. I appreciate the links. I think I'm just gonna sell the light, looks to be too much of a hassle for me, I don't want to risk mangling up the threads. I think the FF2 is gonna take it's place for now anyway.
