I got about halfway through making a list from this forum before my mouse pooped out. I think I got to page 6 or 7 (out of 12). I see d_clark beat me to it. The list looks really nice, d_clark!!!

I believe Chris M has the other prototype Arc-LS, if you wish to add that to the list. It has a white LED like mine, if I'm not mistaken.

I noticed you said you were compiling list, but didn't see it posted, so that's when I did mine.

If you want do keep it up, feel free.
(There is an excel file on the site)

Any suggestions to make it better ?
At this point I'll try to update once a week.

I think the two HTML versions you have up there now are great. I can't read Excell files though (not that I know of, anyway), so I can't evaluate that one.
Let me try that one and see what happens...BRB...hmmm now I *can* open an .XLS file. Very nice looking file! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I *was* compiling a list, and got to page 6 or 7 and then my computer mouse pooped out. So I gave up. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Your list makes up for that, so I'll just stop right now. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

with my LSL-P 339

And to think that just two weeks ago I was "Arc-less"....

LSL-P #240 (received 9/17)
......which led to
LSL-P #276 (received 9/23)
LS First Run #1867 factory second (received 9/23)
LSH-P #899 (received 9/23, from a dealer this time)
......which led to
LS First Run #704 factory second (received 9/26)
LSL-P #275 factory second (received 9/26)

I've got another LSH-P coming from a dealer & will post its serial number soon.

First Run #2043 Hybrid low-dome w/twisty. (my first ARC flashlight. Purplish.)

First Run #1976 Greykit w/Q3JW high-dome w/twisty. (my current EDC and favorite of the two. Near pure white!)

I'm really impressed with the LS. So much light from such a compact package. Amazed everytime I turn it on. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Arc-LS LED First Run #1577 (second)

Wondering is this the 1st one ..... in my country ?

I was "Arc-less" too for a few weeks, because I sold my ARC LSH-P 1016 to get money for the LS4.

ARC LSH-P 1106 (got it today /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif, can't live long without an LS for EDC /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif )

Thanks again Peter for this awesome light, I love it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif

Weird, your serial numbers just moved the "1" digit to the left.

And you are welcome! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Peter

Is there any rhyme or reason to the order of the serial numbers?
Were the lights assembled and sold in numerical order or are the serial numbers somewhat random? I'm under the impression that a high serial number doesn't necessarily mean that light is newer than a lower numbered light.

LSH-P 1102 just acquired (other 4 registered earlier)

harrydog,

Serial numbers are interesting. My first LSH-P was delivered end of July (1048) followed about 10 days later by LSH-P 1907 and I just got LSH-P 1102 yesterday. My LSL-P's seem to follow the normal progression 192 followed by 338. All were bought directly from Arc. So nothing hanging around in a dealer's inventory. Just another part of the total mystique.... they are all wonderful lights.

The serial numbers do seem to march along with the production dates, however. #1048 was 5-16-03, #1907 was 8-1-03, and #1102 was 7-15-03. Why was 1907 sent out before 1102?? Who cares, but it is fun to speculate. What you get on any given order seems to depend on how far into the "pile" the person reaches. Look at all the "older" first runs that are showing up recently. My guess is that were sitting at the "bottom" of the seconds bin and lately a lot of people have been buying seconds and the bottom has been reached. But again, so what. They are all great.

OK. Time to chime in...

I've got an Original LS (First Run) #026 complete with all 3 power packs. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif Everything works just like the day it first arrived. Refused offer of buyback (since they were "Beta"). Instead, took the credit offer to pick up an Arc-AAA Turquoise. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Question to fellow LS owners (especially owners of original First Runs): Have you tried any of the current tail switched power packs with your LS head? Any compatibility problems?

Hello all, just received my very first (and second) ARC lights. They are an LSH-P 1023 and a AAA Premium. Outstanding lights!!!

Tim

Just got mine today./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif
LSH-P # 1064, I love it.

I had an LSH-P and loved it. Unfortunately I lost it on a recent trip to Mexico. Now I'm debating whether to replace it now or wait for the LS4.
