Arc4+ o-ring fragility

Well, look at the pictures
This happened when i screwed them together.
Some of it is peeled of, some of it is sticking out.

No, that's the original one, the edges are quite sharp in my opinion

I am new to the forum and a just received my first Arc4+ several weeks ago. I have talked to Peter several times on the phone and he has always been helpful and professional. I would have no reason to suspect he would provide anything less than "excellent customer service". I just wonder if most people post there problems in this forum first and wait for Peter to respond or do most people email him at Arc and wait for a response the proper way? Just wondering...
