DX sell SKU:331 CR2025 x 20, ($3.66) of which I have a pack, (actually bought from FifthUnit) but a little disappointed with some of the unused on-load volts.

I tried some CR2025's from Battech, trading on ebay as total-power-solutions.

Cost a little more, for 15 x CR2025, (£2.50) but upon inspection, both physically, and the engraved writing appear to be exactly the same.

Electrically too, similar reading on and off load.

So, they appear to be sourced from the same manufacturer, but as neither shows capacity, nor use by date, little information.

Not too disappointed, bearing in mind they costs so little, this is not a jeer, I do expect the total-power-solutions ones to perhaps be slightly better in use, the only difference appears to be that they are individually packaged.

Writing appears to be Japanese.

Both cells are exactly the same as the one on the LHS in photo, cell on RHS is a totally different source, with "Japan" specified. Included to show Japanese writing, from Japan source. As you can see, the writing is exactly the same.

Anyone else have any better information ?

Which manufacturer / supplier do you totally recommend ?

(I'm UK based, you may just have noticed this ! )

(They are used in DVD-R remotes, so low usage, with periods of rest, though it is obvious when they are becoming depleted)

These cells as many other CR2xxx are likely to be branded cells made by maxell since maxell is world's biggest coin and button cell manuafacturer. Their factories are in japan. Wholesale price for these batteries in europe is appx 0,20-0,30 euros per cell excluding VAT.
