I've had 2 dereelight xpg p60 drop ins short on me and die. Today I fried 2 drivers trying to fix them. Testing them before screwing into reflectors showed they worked great. In the reflector, poof.

Anyone have any suggestions on a better way than those plastic sticky discs to isolate the led from the reflector? I even tried some clear nail polish for lack of a better idea (didn't work) I may just start using xre reflectors as I'm sick of destroying drivers. Those dereelight reflectors work very well though.

I saw on here someplace where someone used the seal/disk inside a plastic coke botte lid. Thin and tough. Worked for me.

Thanks for the suggestion. You were using an xpg reflector with the tiny opening?
