Hello all,

Does anyone have any previous experience with this outfit? Their web site is at http://arizonagunrunners.com
I am thinking of ordering some Surefire stuff from them.
Any info about them is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Torkis

Yes, AGR is very good. Good service, obtains newly released items quickly, very good prices. I got my 2001 M2 from them.

I have been waiting several months for the 10x but I think it is actually Surefires fault. Some problem with the bulbs. Other than that they seem fine.

I've bought a very rare discontinued SureFire part from AGR. I normally use Tim Flanagan though.

AGR was very considerate of my needs, and didn't mess me around. They knew what they were talking about.

I doubt I'll use them again, but if I'm looking for things other than SureFires that I can't buy from Tim, AGR is top of my list of preferred online retailers.

High compared to whom? In order to be most helpful, please provide information on other retailers offering superior prices/service, rather than just stating it is so.

I just did the following comparison of the E1/GM and E2/GM from five retailers. With the exception of Botach (who I would never ever use), I've purchased from AGR, Lagger-Pro, OneStopKnifeShop, and Brightguy. These four retailers offer fast, excellent service.

AGR looks pretty good to me, and these are their regular prices. They often have sales, and I bought my 2001 M2 for $97.49 + shipping.

E1/GM:
AGR = $41.99 + shipping
Lagger-Pro = $48.00, free shipping
OneStopKnifeShop = $44.99 + shipping
Brightguy = $56.95 + shipping
Botach = $45 + shipping

E2/GM:
AGR = $52.49 + shipping
Lagger-Pro = $59, free shipping
OneStopKnifeShop = $68.99 + shipping
Brightguy = $66 + shipping
Botach = $55 + shipping

Cheers,

Thanks for all the comments. I'll go and order that M6 I have been wanting. Thanks again. Torkis

Thanks for the valuable info, "Skyline". I really appreciate it. You are right AGR has good prices but I got a better deal than AGR from another online retailer because I made a big order with them.

This online retailer has good price but I have never order from them:
http://www.aspitactical.com/

Advanced Specialty Products, Incorporated - (818) 347-1926

E1 $47.99

E2 $58.00

These are prices for the Hard Anodized finish which is more expensive than the Gun Metal finish "Skyline" posted above.

Just one comment... That BrightGuy price is for the HA E2. He doesn't stock the GM version. I got my E2 HA from him a couple of months ago. I've had excellent results with BG and Lagger-Pro.

Skyline, that is a great price for the Gunmetal E2. I prefer the more expensive Hard Anodize finish E2 because it is a much more durable finish. The E2/HA are always more expensive.

Thanks for all the valuable info Skyline. AGR is on the top of my list when I make my next Surefire purchase. I'm waiting for the LED Bezel to come out.

nonbox,

I'm a believer in HA myself. My first SureFire was the 6P, but then I discovered the virtues of HA. Now I have the E1, M2, M3, and M6 in HA.

I figured that some people prefer GM though, since it's cheaper and some would say, "dressier".

My next purchase will be a Pyrex M6 bezel.

I have only ordered from AGR once but the service and prices were great. I ordered about a dozen seperate things. I received all of them very quickly and the contents was just as I ordered. They also told me upfront what was back-ordered. I found their prices to be very good. After being on these boards though I have heard good things about LPS and Flanagan too. Will have to try them next.

I hope those four are living up to expectations!

Four M3T's with MN15 & MN16 Lamp Modules are out there somewhere (most likely at SureFire), and I want to be able to buy one as soon as possible!

I bet the Pyrex looks really classy with the AR coating...

I've ordered from AGR about 4 times now. The second time Gary (the owner, I believe it's a one-man operation) screwed up on my order. There was a missing battery stick and a incorrect lens/reflector assembly. He contacted me the next day and admitted to the mix-up and sent me the missing&proper items the same day. The price is one of the lowest I've seen. However, a couple of words of caution: Gary is not really a customer relation person, not very sociable in my book. But as long as the price is right and the service is decent... you can't complain. A second word is this: He(AGR) does not really take phone calls (experience from the screwed-up second order), you can expect a voice-mail if you call. So you're better off sending a email, usually he's pretty good at responding (next day or so). However, I'm still waiting for a reply to a email I've sent a couple of days ago. Oh, a extra warning: Gary doesn't respond very well to questions about a particular product other than stating the price and the items included, so questions like "is the LED on the charger suppose to go off after..." will usually go unanswered (hence, I don't think he's a very good at customer relations).

Well I would agree that not all of my emails have been answered, but the important ones have.

When I actually wanted to buy something, or confirm an order, Gary was very fast, and my order was processed quickly.

I would not expect him to answer product related questions. No, not really. I can email the manufacturer or discuss it in a forum etc.

Actually, I ordered my SureFire T1 from AGR cos he was the only company to respond.

I would use him again if it wasn't for Tim Flanagan. "My Dealer" - A guy who is very interested in what he's selling!

I ordered some SureFires from Arizona Gunrunners and someone swiped the package from my front doorstep. As soon as UPS issued a claim number, Gary shipped my replacements. He shipped me new lights before receiving money from UPS.

As far as I am concerned, Arizona Gunrunners has a customer for life here.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for SureFire products priced right.

Anyone have Tim Flanagan's website/email/phone number?
Where is he located?
Size15's, I think you ordered from him in the past.

I am still waiting for my 10x. It has been about 4 months now!!! It isn't AGR's fault I think there was a surefire recall.

I just ordered from AGR again and in the comments part of my order I asked if there was any news about my 10x and got no reply
