At what voltage do you start loosing performance? 123A

Non Regulated LED, Ie. streamlight TLR-1. 123A batteries, new is about 3.2 volts, if I mesure them, at what voltage am I going to start to loose max brightness? Another way to ask the question would be, at what voltage should I replace them?

I'm no expert, but I would imagine it depends on the current draw the device they're being used in has. A high current device will cause the cell's voltage to dip lower and be 'unacceptable' faster than a very low current draw device. I'll let an expert give you the lowdown though.

No expert here, per se, but experience. I find that a CR123 reading 2.85 volts is about shot for any high drain application. You will know when they need replacing-serious dimming.
