Attempting first modified light...seeking advice!

Hello,

I'm a new user but old viewer of cpf. I would like to convert my surefire C3 to a lux III regulated light....this is a first for me and I'm very much a novice at all this and I would love any advice or links to similiar mods. I would like to use the SF C3 bezel(incand.). Does someone make a circuit driver that will fit a C style SF light? I would love any advice.

Using a C3, you would probably want a Lux3 @ 700ma, medium amount of heat with quite a lot of light.

It's not possible exactly make a drop in so to speak, someone did drill out a P series LA and put a Lux and a circuit inside though, it's a one of a kind. Gotta search in the post in the past month or 2.

As for the circuit driver, you can use the Downboy I think.
