Aurora AK-P7 vs Homemade 800 lm (beamshots inside)

One year ago I made a light called "Bastl" for my bike with 6x Cree Q5 (or small version with 4x Cree Q5 only).

Now I bought SSC P7 light from DX (Aurora AK-P7).

Later I modified it with Sekonix Col#1 collimator and filters.

Now I can drive with 1400lumen (together 600+800lumen) on my bike ))

I agree with Hey Hey it's Hendo re the beamshape. What a good idea to use the Al tube extension as "barn-doors" and to have the extra down spill in front of the bike.
I hope you know that this means that I'll have to modify my rig once again. Curses!

I have one of the 5-mode Aurora AK-P7 lights which I use for night riding. This mod looks great at directing the light better. Did you have to modify anything or was it an easy fit?

It was easy. But you have to cut it a little with a sand-paper.
Sekonix Col#1 is great optic.

Still waiting on the collimators to arrive. Postage to Australia can be frustrating sometimes. Thanks for the advice.
