hi guys
need a bit of help regarding momentory switches i have all my parts now just need a switch so just to recap

aurora 900 lumens thorch
li-ion 7.4 6000 mah battery plus charger
kaidomain 3 mode driver

so all i need is the switch and to be honest i havent a clue with reverse or forward clickie switches so would some one be so kind and link me one please im just on with modding the houseing so pictures soon.
thanks thwang

A forward clicky will allow you to lock in a mode. A Reverse clicky will allow you to switch modes with one or two presses at any time.

I use a reverse clicky from an electron halogen set moutned on the handle bars. I'd just re-use the switch that came with it.

If you're taking the power in through the tailcap like I did, then I'd reccomend you don't use DC plugs, they rattle out quite easily - I've changed mine over to Phono plugs, much more positive connection, and easier to find with strain relief

thanks for the reply guys so far ive used the head off the torch with a new back half if i get time tomorrow i will turn the head down then weld them together. i,ve just been hunting in my parts bin and have this switch will this work?

So longas you're putting the switch on the power side of the driver it will be fine. You might find it a faff to change modes though, as you'll have to latch off then back on again. Unfortunately maplins don't do anything ideal (which imo would be an Off-On-(Off) rather than the On-Off-(On) they do). If you've room a toggle for powerwith a push to break to change modes would be ideal.
