Got my lighthound order in today, pair of imr16340, 1 imr 18650 and a regular protected 17670, all AW. Figured I'd post actual measured diameters in case anyone was interested. All batteries arrived at 3.98-4.0 volts. My caliper really isn't accurate out to 3 digits, so just round up, the numbers are the closest estimate to the dial markings.

IMR 16340:
diameter- 16.6mm, .655 inches
length- 33.6mm, 1.325 inches

IMR 18650:
diameter- 18.5mm, .730 inches (.725/18.4 for most of the battery, that was the widest point though)
length- 65.0mm , 2.56 inches

Darned thing was bigger than I thought it would be, I was really hoping for it to be something like 17.9mm. This is going to cut it REALLY close with my surefire C2 body, ID at the o-rings is currently 17.9 o-ring recesses are 19.9mm OD. I'll do it, but I'm gonna do it real slow and not remove any more material than necessary. Is thermal expansion an issue with these batteries? I don't want to fit them too close and have them freeze up in the tube.

Protected 17670:
diameter- 17.01mm, .67 inches
length- 67.31mm, 2.65 inches

These on the other hand fit nice and loose. I'm actually quite tempted to just stick with these for the C2, but hey no guts no glory right? Someone posted in another thread that twisting for constant on doesn't work with this battery, well it happens to work fine with my sf C2/M60, maybe some odd peculiarity with other lights.
