Flashlight Enthusiast
Hi guys I just returned from a quick trip to sedona. Apart from being the center of the psychobabble universe it is a very beautiful place. A place that gets VERY VERY Dark at night.
I took two lights with me. My EDC a stock Lunasol 20 and a sundrop.
They served me well and both got used.
There were a bunch of photographers there and most were very impressed with the sundrops ability to render color.
I have found that my LS20 when carried like I do on a lanyard around my neck does a great job of showing the area around my feet where I am walking with zero effort. I turn the light on low and just let it hang. Not only can I see where I am going others behind me have a good idea where to go as well.
Again, Long story short, these lights generally exceeded my actual every day needs by a huge margin. It is like having flashlight capability overhead.
I hope to never actually come upon a situation where my actual use of the light approaches the lunasol 20's ultimate ability to withstand multiple extremes.
