I am back in the incan game having just picked up a KT1-HA and an MN16 from SF :twothumbs

It's funny how things come around. I went from incandescent to LED, but now I love both for their merits.

I was sold on the small form factor, efficient, non-yellowing properties of LEDs. Of course, this comparison referred to standard incandescents.

When I built a 6D ROP, I realised how incandescents should be. The 6D format was a little large, so I built a 2D ROP, which I now EDC everywhere I have my rucksack. It is small enough to put in a pocket with the head protruding out, which is cool.

In some construction/service technician jobs a 2D Maglite would not look out of place as an EDC. When you turn it on though, that is when it is surprising.

Yes, I also have come to the conclusion that the 2x C and 2x D size Maglites are about as big as I would ever want to have and use. Anything bigger and/or heavier than that would simply stay at home collecting dust. I also came to the conclusion that my 2x C Mag with WA1111 lamp is too bright for around the house, inside and outside, to the point where its uncomfortable on the eyes.........and yes, I also use an incan far more than any one of my LED lights......
