Excuse the newbie question: I saw a Eveready AA/AAA battery charger today that had the designation on the packet of "2000 mAh".

Does this mean that it will not accept any NiMH batteries above 2000?

Could I recharge my Duracell 2650s?

Welcome, I'm pretty new also. Your charger should be fine for any NiMH's.

I agree, It should work, it'll just take a little longer, the higher MAH cells still charge to 1.2v. IT just takes longer for them to charge and since the charger is probably voltage regulated it should work fine.

it sounds to me like either the charger came with sime 2000mah cells or they want you to buy theirs (like most big manufacturer's do)
