I wanted to start a thread with experience with charge rates and your batteries. Kind of different than the battery shoot-out. I've read the threads where you should charge at .1C. I have a bunch of Energizer rechargeables that I have used for about 1.5 years with the Energizer 15 minute charger. The few I have tested seem to be holding up pretty darn well. I have no idea on the cycles, but probably average only 1 cycle a month.

After receiving my LaCrosse BC-900, it's time to start testing batteries. :)

E - Energizer battery. The numbering is funny because I thought they were all 2200 mAh, but 1-4 are 2200 mAh, and the rest are 2100. All say made in Japan. Interesting that 2100 mAh are labeled in small print, and the 2200 are labeled min. 2050 in small print.

Battery - Tested Ah - Rated mAh
E1 ------ 2.18 ------- 2200
E2 ------ 2.16 ------- 2200
E3 ------ 2.14 ------- 2200
E4 ------ 2.19 ------- 2200
E5 ------ 2.06 ------- 2100
E6 ------ 2.08 ------- 2100
E7 ------ 2.04 ------- 2100
E8 ------ 1.90 ------- 2100

More to come...

Bump for the addition of more battery tests. I also think it's useful info for those of us interested in charge rates and battery life. The batteries are pretty old, but seem to be holding up fine despite being charged with only the 15 minute charger. They don't have that many cycles on them. One cell needed to be cycled once for the Energizer charger to detect it as a good cell. (#9, not tested yet).
