Anyone know why Olight decided to go with 6 123s and no support for 3 18650s? Voltage can't be it because the M31 runs on 3 123s and is basically the same LED and driver...or is it? Anyone know if a "MKII" may modify this? $6 (min) to run the thing for a couple of hours kinda eliminates it as a "work" or "duty" light as I would go broke using the dang thing.:broke:

Good question. I guess it doesn't take RCR123s either, so I can see how that light would bankrupt what is left of your cash after buying it.

I have heard from an Olight dealer that the SR50 can run on RCR123s.

I don't know what the torch operating voltage is.

Maybe someone can verify using RCR123s and the SR50 operating voltage.
