The first time I got some free Battery Holders from Thomas Distributing (just an example, not the batteries I got), I threw them away, thinking "how stupid" . My son got some with an order for batteries and he asked if I wanted one, I said no, then later, I said 'let me try one, please'. So I've used it for a couple months and it is great. Easy to tell which are charged, which aren't, organized etc.. However now that I realize these are good things, the hinge is about broken through. So I'm looking for a better, heavier duty holder.
I've found these:
Battery Wallet with belt loop that does not open.
Leather Battery walletl
Compact Military battery holders

I'm leaning toward the first of the three. Then I can label mine and my children theirs :)

As I was searching, on CountyComm specifically, I came across EOD UTILITY BAG, which if they had in stock, I'd probably get. Every Spring as I stop wearing my winter coat, I discover all the things I can't carry, without the extra pockets. A backpack is too big, belt pouches are too small. This looks about perfect. Any alternatives or suggestions?

Try Powerpax.net their holders are tough, come in many colors so you can seperate charged & discharged, they even make glow-in-the-dark ones to find in an emergency. This is the manufacturer of the ones you see on the Countycomm site and Sportys

Great selection, I think I'll probably wind up with the nylon ones in the first link.

Though the G-I-D ones at Powerpax really peak my interest :)
I think these are the best overall, but the nylon ones are less expensive.
Anymore suggestions?

Re: Battery Holders

I search for some battery holders for my AA eneloops, best in GITD version
i want to ask about quality of material is it a bit flexy or hard plastic?

pawerpax http://www.powerpax.net looks pretty,
i have found also different options
here http://www.countycomm.com/CBH.htm
and here http://www.lighthound.com/Tools-Avi...ery-Holder-Carrier--Glows-in-Dark_p_2184.html
please tell me if there is more product like this to select best ones

Hello djlucky,

:welcome: and greetings to Slovakia!

your options above are all the same products  Powerpax is the producer, but sells them also directly. Countycomm sells only to US residents :thumbsdow I made best experiences with Lighthound

Right now four different GITD models are sitting next to my computer on a writing desk, one meter from a window. They get enough light during the day for a steady night time glow

The material is rather rigid, you can't bend or flex it. The cut-out tongues, however, allow a bit of movement to insert and hold batteries securely. They do rattle a bit in their holders, though.

Hth

Best regards,

Wolfgang

There is a new one out for hikers which is just a set of loops sewn in 3/4" wide elastic. Just flip one side to other for charged/discharged. Just saw it last month in Backpacker
