Battery holders (case)

Hello,

Anyone know of any good battery organizers that are also cheap
so after shipping they dont cost over 20 dollars each?

Im talking about a case or rack that holds batteries mostly of
size AA and AAA... at least 20 AA and 20 AAA or are cheap enough
to buy two of them and they hold 10 of each.

Another good option is one I saw a photograph of here on CPF ( I think it was in the "Lets See Your Chargers" thread).

A guy was using heavy duty plastic ammo holders. They have dividers, and a solid lid with latch.

So I went to the local Sportsmans Warehouse (like a Cabelas), went to the gun and ammo section, and there were literally dozens of various shapes and sizes of these ammo or "shell" boxes.

I bought a couple of the S25D boxes for around $3.00 each. They fit my AA Ni-MH cells perfectly.

If there is a Cabelas, or Sportsmans Warehouse type of store near you, go check 'em out. They work great.

Plastic ammo boxes for rifle caliber 45-70 government will hold AA and AAA batteries. They are heavy duty plastic and come in various sizes and colors. Great for those Costco 36packs. midwayusa.com has them and lots of other fun stuff.

Don,

As we all know, some of these high capacity rechargeable cells are slightly fatter than the primary ones. Have you noticed any too fat to fit?

All I have are energizer 2500s and they fit fine in the AA carriers. And even those are not a snug fit, so I can't see others being a problem unless they were really abnormally large.

I received them a few days ago. These are critical for lithium storage solutions to prevent explosions & are great for other sizes too. These will keep different sizes organized in my gear bag. I also ordered different colors for each size so i can easily sort them in an emergency. These were inexpensive, very strong & well worth it. Highly recommended!
