Battery upgrade for under cabinet lights.

Got the 10 batteries, unsoldered the original tiny batteries and soldered in the new ones. 9 lights work. One works but the red LED never goes out when charging.

I left it on to run down last night then plugged it in today to charge. Same story. Charges but when to quit? Just messaged the seller on Aliexpress.

Are you able to measure cell voltage after charging for a while? Could be the cell or the charger circuit. Could try a different known-good cell on the same light.
