Hi Guys,

I found this link to a Dry Battery Recycler on another forum- BatteryRecycling.com and wanted to pass it along. I did a quick search and while there have been plenty of threads on what to do with your spent CR123's- they were mostly just vague suggestions.

Apparently, this company charges only $.85 a pound- plus shipping to their facility (for household users). There's also a lot of info on the website.

Seems a small price to pay to keep them out of our landfills. :)

in Germany there are collect-boxes for used battieres in every shop/supermarket that sells them, no charge.

Its also good idea to look into these, often you find working rechargeables in them

see not many people are going to pay to recycle batteries when they can throw them in the trash... free, no postage, and no hassle of sending.... they're going at this the wrong way... they need to pay for the batteries if they want to make a difference or government funding...???

p.s. there might be some people that will go through the trouble but most people won't even bother

my. $.02
