I am on a mod projecct on my coltri sub 40.i am thinking of an sst-50 or 90 and i want you to tell mefor a dive light which is the usual beam angle for these leds. The torch is'nt for camera light or something like this. Can you tell which reflector i can use.

Beam angle is all down to personal preference and the conditions you dive in.

If you dive in murky conditions then you want minimal spill light that will just illuminate the particles in the water.

A tight beam is also good for signalling buddies.

A wide beam is good for use with a camera of video and also for night dives where you may want to illuminate large areas.

Im not sure what SST specific optics are avaliable but I have tried the SST's with DX's 44mm aspherics and also the W300 ultrafire's reflector and am pleased with both.

I dive in Greece so the visibility usualy is good to very good, and the light is used in night dives. Can you give me your opinion about what would you do?

I would probably opt for a wider beam.
Perhaps use an aspheric lens then you can set the beam angle to suit. This way you are really only limited to how small of a beam you can go.

But then the use of a reflector may also be suitable.
I'd grab a few cheap ones of DX the size that fits and play around with them a little.

ok,can you suggest me please some aspheric and some reflectors gor the sst-50.
