do they have any difference?

and i can use M2 bezel on a C3 with P90, right?

the beam of "C3 bezel vs M2 bezel on C3 body" will be the same as "C2 vs M2"?

Yes that will work fine. The M2 bezel is shock isolated which means the lamp sits back in the bezel farther. With the lamp sitting back farther some of the side spill light is blocked so the beam is the same with a bit less spill.

how much side spill will be lost?

i can live with the amount of side spill of my G2Z (which has the same dimension bezel as C2), i don't know if i could live with less side spill ...

will the M2 bezel provide a hotter hot spot? bigger hot spot?

As the LA is the part pruducing the light and focusing it with the reflector the hotspot will be the same no matter what kind of bezel you are using. As the LA sits deeper inside the bezel when used with any kind of SIS bezels the sidespill is somewhat smaller but in no way limiting it, this can be ignored without worrying. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

its the same LA after all /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/twakfl.gif

I own a G2Z and an M2, both fitted with the HOLA lamps. On a side by side comparison you can't notice much difference in the lost of side spill on the M2. The M2 still produces quite a drastic amount of side spill is all I can say.
