I am going to take a guess of the output, especially the LUX of my D1Svn Oslon BLACK flat.

This is what we know and what I am basing it on.

Eagletac M30CvnT is the best V54 reflector thrower for the size
Equipped with XPG2 PDT + DriverVN4 the Specs are:
Lumen 685
Intensity 300Kcd
Throw 1100m

W/ Oslon Black flat

M30Cvn?
Lumen 730
Intensity 500Kcd
Throw 1414m

U21vn
XPG2 PDT, Most throw, least heat, tight hot spot
ANSI
Lumen: 870
Lux: 320K
Throw: 1130M

W/ the XPG2. the M30Cvn goes from 300Kcd to 500Kcd and the U21vn is 320Kcd, You would think that would go to ~500Kcd or slightly more.

Now,,,,,,,,,,

The D1Svn has a slightly smaller[1/3"] head than the U21. I would guess that the optics are similar.

My guess w/ Oslon Black flat is that the D1Svn will be 420Kcd/1296m throw and ~ 730 lumens.

I suspect the range would be at LEAST 380Kcd and up to 450Kcd!

I am getting mine measured, so I will find out then!
:D

I am liking that beam, yes cool but looks quite a pure white(can cope with that).

After it is on for 3 or 4 minutes I get use to it. At turn on it is still a bit of a shock! Coolest white light I ever had.

If I could have the TK75vn KT tint I would sacrifice 1500 lumens on the quad!! Have to take the good w/ the bad,,,still happy I have it.

Yes agree, i find using cooler lights is best when not mixed with warmer or neutral. That way my eyes are not as shocked with the cool beam. Must admit(being a neutral fan), the D1vn with the sst40 is good, really enjoying it.

I use my secondary lights first. Just about every one of them or PDT or the warmer side of cool White. So that definitely makes it a bit of a shock when I use my primary lights with a cool white tint.

With that said the K60vn with the SST 40 is a beautiful beam profile and also nice tint doesn't bother me one bit. Even though it's cooler. Not as cool as the quad!

Do you have the sst40 in your k60vn? That must be quite a decent throw. I love the xhp70 shaved dome, maybe the best beam ever!

I was 300 yards away and had my buddy shine the quad at me! It seemed like he was 30 yards away!!!

BLINDED BY THE LIGHT!

Nice! I did something similar years ago with my dad and the stock 2600-lumen TK75. That was a good time haha.

I am very fortunate. There are tons of trails within 5 miles of my house.

This is the "Basin Trail" along the Schuylkill River". I was on it Once before during the day.

This NEW Basin trail has become my favorite and I get the best "Down the Trail" shots there. It is darker and more natural setting[Grass/dirt instead of stones / macadam].

My D1Svn is SHIPPED! I found a spot on the basin trail w/ a clean shot to a water tower that is 1080 Yards away. That is right towards the end of the range of the light. 270Kcd =1136 yards. I will have those next week,,,,Possibly Saturday.

For now more TK61vn V4 and a decent M2Xvn shot.

This will be my beam distance test for my mid ranged lights. It is 902 yds./825 Meters. It starts on the bottom of the picture where it reads "TO TOWER 902 YARDS" then to the top where is reads "Target Water Tower 1314m/1438y. That is the distance from a test in the other direction for my bigger lights.

I have no idea how the pictures will turn out using my cell phone. The lights will no doubt reach. But there may not be enough foreground light to produce a decent picture.

The D1svn is due on Saturday. I am testing the site tonight with my U21vn XPL.

Have fun! Looks like an awesome place. Would love to be able to walk at night somewhere nearby like that! I have one place an hour away but places nearby close at sunset. :)

Here are some more "Trail shots" and beam shot to water tower withe the U21vn XPL and the K40vn XML2 PDT.

The tower shots are not that good! Especially the only one for the U21vn. I zoomed the camera to 2X. The distance is 902 yards away.

I think the D1Svn w/OSLON will turn out better than U21vn because of the concentrated beam. I will find out Saturday night!:D

I pruned the branches that were in my view with the exception of the ones over the river which I can not reach.

The photos last night were Zoomed 2X. I am going to try 2.5X and 3X even though the pictures will probably be more blurry.
