Wonderful beamshots, the warm tints looks good especially in snow, very realistic. For me in real life I dont like blue tint in snow, too blinding.

Yes, I believe so since Q5 is only ~14% brighter than Q3 on average.

Does look good, the solar force seems to be a rather high temperature more on the blueish side of color.

Me too (I'm still waiting for mine).

Difference between Q2 and A3 5A is weird, too much to be in one tint bin. Q3 5A looks more like my favourite 3A or 3C.

I did these shots for my AKOray review but are pretty relevant for this thread (note modded AKOray was shot with reduced drive current of 700mA-it was 1100mA stock).

Fenix L2D Turbo

TR801 /w Q3 5A

Q2 P60 Drop-in

MC-E Drop-in High

SF R2 1-mode (only one cell so not as bright as possible)

Both 5B and 5A tints are nice IMO, but perhaps Q4 5B has the edge because it's higher flux bin.

May I ask from where you bought your 5B Q4? It's been released just recently I believe

Thanks buddy, I strive for excellence I agree, the Q3 is probably my favorite out of all my tints, it's almost a shame that my TR801 lives in a car glovebox rarely getting any appreciation.
