The rain let up tonight just long enough for me to spend some time outdoors... doing what I enjoy:laughing:.
For tonight I brought along the following (L-R):
-Surefire M2 hosting a Malkoff M60
-Surefire 6P hosting a modded DX11836, the 11836 has been modded with a 3-mode 1350mah DC-DC board.
-Home Depot Husky 3AAA that I modded with an 18650... Direct drive Cree XR-E, probably a P4 or Q2 BIN.
-Home Depot Husky spotlight that I modded with extra NiMH AA cells and an R2-WC BIN XR-E. Current limiting resistor is the OEM stock one, I have no idea what current the emitter actually sees.
Celing bounce comparisons (ISO fixed at 1/60). For these shots the stuffed animals were placed at the head of my bed. Lights clamped vertically onto footboard, aimed straight up at the ceiling. Camera was positioned in the center on a tripod.
The shot above was taken using the 6P bezel on the M2 body.
Courtyard, small shrub at 33 feet
I knocked my cam off center on the above shot, but rest assured the 11836 has less side flood than the Malkoff.
