Got a small question, does anyone have any sources for beryllium copper wire, about 0.75-1 mm dia? Catch is, I don't need more than about a foot of it. Ebay didn't help, unfortunately.

Smallparts.com has some springs made of it. If you just needed it straight you could unwind it.

Be careful doing any sanding/heating/machining. Beryllium copper is very safe, but if the beryllium is airborne it is HIGHLY toxic. Use caution.

Planning to make some springs out of it. A non-standard size, much to my annoyance.

Thanks for the reminder on machining it, I hopefully won't have to machine it at all.
