Anyone heave any opinions on the best 123 batteries out there? Life as well as power?

I will be using in Inova Inforce 6v

Thanks

Ethan

Basically any of the "Made in USA" cells.

Surefire, Duracell, Energizer, Rayovac, Streamlight, Panasonic...I would imagine Sanyo makes good cells as well.

All of the American made 123's are about on par. Surefire, Streamlight, Panasonic, Energizer, Ray-o-Vac are about the same and come from the same factory. Duracell is slightly better than most. Be wary of cells on Ebay and from China, only buy direct from trusted dealers like Lighthound, Battery Station.

I have been trying 4sevens brand cells, which are imported but designed to the same spec as American cells, and they seem to be excellent thus far.

I've had such good experience so far with Battery Station CR123s that I have no incentive to try anything else - especially for the price!

Anyone know what the miliamp hours are on the standard CR123?

Why do primaries usually never say miliamp hours and rechargeables do?

I think it's interesting that some cells perform better at high draw rates, and others better at low draw. The sanyo is tops when run at 0.5A, but pull 2A from it and it's fairly poor compared to some of the other brands.

I use Duracells for primaries, They last a heckuva long time in C123's in my Fenix Lights.
They might cost a wee bit more, but it's worth it in longevity and performance.
