best batteries for SOLARFORCE L1, clone of SF 6P

I am planning to use some rechargeable for the SF 6P clone, SOLARFORCE L2.
Should I use 2 x rechargeable CR123 - called 16340 - or a 17670 ???
Will 2 X RCR CR 123 offer a shorter runtime, maybe one hour , with regulated output while with 17670 can I get more runtime, maybe 3-4 hrs at a non regulated level ?
Will the light be brighter with 2 RCR than using a 17670 ?
I understand that with 2 disposable CR123 the runtime for SOLARFORCE L2 will be 2hrs with a pretty good regulation.
Any suggestion will be most welcome as I am looking for the best solution.

That would depend what drop-in you have.

Some only work on 1 Li-ion while others can handle 4. Some are brightest with 1 Li-ion while others increase in output with the voltage.
