Although I generally not a fan of belt sheaths the Mini-Pock-its seem interesting. Can anyone tell me if they would hold for example a NF-2 and a Leatherman wave together?

Hello DimBeam,

Welcome to CPF.

Check out Rip Off holsters. They have a wide variety of sizes and styles. I have one that holds my Super Leatherman and an ARC LSH-P with the 2 AA battery holder (similar in size to a Mini Mag) and like it a lot. Very well made and durable.

I use a Bianchi M1025 magazine pouch with the plastic insert removed. In it I carry a Leatherman Sideclip, an E2E, 4 spare 123's, a Fisher pen, and a hadcuff key. It is easy on, and easy off.

Without a doubt, contact Rick Dix at Dix Leatherworks (http://www.leatherwork.com). go to the custom side and look at the combo sheaths for a wave and a 6P. I have one and it is great. Highly recommended.

He makes much of this custom any way at a very, low cost.

great thread topic im looking for something like this too.

Im currently using niteize (www.niteize.com) pockits to hold my SF E2e and victorinox swisschamp. pockits were designed for minimags so it isnt the perfect size for my new E2e. looking for something more compact.

ripoffs look nice but im not sure about the metal clip.

anybody tried using blackhawk stuff (www.blackhawkindustries.com)?

I hate anything with velcro

I use the double version of the this to carry my LM ST200 and L4 at work.
I'm also on the verge of getting a couple of these, since I would prefer the extra security of a fastex buckle over a snap.

I had reservations about the clip at first.
The place I work at requires that I pass thru several different detectors (explosives, radiation, metal) before entering the work site. The metal clip makes it MUCH easier to remove (I dont have to undo my belt to take it off) and run thru the x-ray machine.
The clip is in no way uncomfortable.
IMHO this is the PERFECT way to EDC a multitool and flashlight.

You'd probably have to put an NF-2 in the large rear pocket on a nite-ize pockets holder due to the adjustable ring. (I don't think this is the mini pock-its though.)

I've used the nite-ize for over a year now, almost daily at work. Might upgrade eventually but haven't had any problems. I actually got an extra for my backpack for five bucks. X5T and wave in the front, L1 and spare batteries in the back.

Rick Dix at Leatherworks will make custom sheaths for just a little bit more - if he hasn't made one already. They are amazingly inexpensive but are super high quality. I really can't say enough good about this guy - he is a real craftsman.

If he has built a sheath already for that tool, then making it into a custom is that much easier. The tricky part is getting the dimensions and forming right for the actual device that goes into the sheath. If he hasn't done it, then you just need to send him the light or tool so he can do it. (he has done most all multitools and many lights) Look in the custom gallery - all of that is pretty much standard products too. Note the 6P and Wave tool sheath that he has there.

I have had him make a custom sheath for a number of things. Highly recommended.
