How makes the best Mag Q5 drop-in? I'd like as wide a voltage range as possible.

Shoot over to malkoffdevices.com He's going to be coming out with a q5 mag dropin that accepts up to 9v, so it'll even work with a 6d mag with alkaline or nimh. Plus the heatsinking is very nice. Make sure to sign up for notification.

I've ordered one of these from e-bay....
Cant comment on it's performance as it hasn't arrived yet, but it's operating range is 4.5 to 12V.
I emailed the guy and asked if it would be OK with 3 x RCR123 Li-Ions at 4.2v ea (ie 12.6v).
He said it would be fine
Gotta be worth a shot for the price.
OOPS SHOULD LEARN TO RTFQ....THAT'S WHY I DID BADLY IN EXAMS... DIDN'T PICK UP ON THE FACT YOU WERE ASKING ABOUT MAG DROP-INS..SORRY.
