I'm new to CPF - coming here from EDCForums. An astounding amount of information here. I have always liked flashlights, but only ever bought the cheepies or mag lights. I had no idea that there was so much variety out there!
Anyways, I've been poking around on the forum here and decided that I want to (NEED to) make a mag light mod. I have several 3d mag lights so I would like to use those. However, much of the information I have seen has been scattered throughout posts and much of it went well over my head (I'm just starting to learn all of this).
My question is, is there a definitive guide to the best 3d cell mag light mods out there? What ones would be best for a first mag mod?
I have been looking at the Mag85 mod and so far this looks promising. However, many of the posts/guides are fairly old. Is this still the best non-destructive mod for a 3d mag for a relative noob? Can someone point me to a definitive guide to making one? Thanks and great forum.
